Considering Entrepreneurship?

The Charlotte Regional Economic & Workforce Recovery Initiative emphasis on entrepreneurship was developed to assist unemployed individuals in the Charlotte region interested in starting a business, purchasing a franchise or acquiring an existing business by identifying the many resources available to you. Almost all these services are provided to you at no cost.

Exploring Entrepreneurship Programs
These programs typically last up to three hours and focus on exploring what entrepreneurship is all about. You receive enough information to determine if entrepreneurship is an option worth pursuing further and how to determine what type of business to start based on your background and interests.

Starting Your Business Programs
These programs typically last for several days and are designed for those individuals who are interested in starting a specific business within a year. These in depth programs focus on refining your business idea to the point you are ready to start your business.

Business Counseling
For those with specific entrepreneurial questions, experienced business counselors are available at no cost to you. Need help with your business plan? They can provide guidance when questions come up as you are writing your plan. More importantly, they can review your business plan to make sure you have analyzed every aspect of your business.
